Pentecostal Heritage Centre

A key component of our commitment to our Pentecostal ethos has been the establishment of the Pentecostal Heritage Centre in 2001. Based at Alphacrucis' main campus in Sydney, its aim is to collect, preserve and encourage research into the history and impact of Holy Spirit movements in the Christian churches of Australasia.

The Centre has gathered one of the largest collections of Pentecostal and charismatic materials in Australia and New Zealand, publishes Australia and New Zealand's leading scholarly Pentecostal journal (Australasian Pentecostal Studies), and hosts annual conferences. This archive also includes the National Archives of the Assemblies of God in Australia, collections relating to Pentecostal missions, an extensive living repository of oral sources and collections of early literary materials. As its motto indicates, the Pentecostal Heritage Centre’s key aim is “that their stories may be told.
